According to the university spokesperson, the important area of discussion included collaboration for clinical research, Pharm-D programme, nano technological approach of the drug delivery system, non-violence and spirituality. Prof Tran, a professor of Pharmacy and martial art expert strongly believes in non-violence and spirituality. Prof Pathak is a nano technology expert.
The BHU VC said there was a great possibility of Pharm-D programme in BHU as the varsity had a renowned pharmacy department and a 1,000 bed full-fledged hospital. Under D-Pharma the drugs are tested on patients. Prof Tran said that they were going to set up a Centre for East-West Studies at Sullivan University.
