Manifestations:

• pH > 7.45
• PCO2 < 35 mmHg
• Tachypnea
• Anxiety, tetany
• Paresthesias
• Palpitations
• Chest pain

Interventions:

• Regulate oxygen therapy
• Reduce anxiety
• Rebreathing techniques
